Academic experience
- From October 2012: Assistant professor of Organization Studies at Department of Economics and Statistics – University of Udine (Italy).
As an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Udine, I am part of a project on management of innovation in small and medium enterprises and university-industry relationships.
I am affiliated with Innovation Management Group, iCeMS, Kyoto University (Japan) as visiting researcher for the term November 2012 – March 2013.
I was visiting researcher at the Research Centre on Biotech Business of Copenhagen Business School (Denmark).
I teach “Organization of SMEs” in the undergraduate course in Business Administration.
- 2009-2012: Post doc researcher at Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics – Copenhagen Business School (Denmark)
As a post doc at the Research Centre on Biotech Business of Copenhagen Business School, I have been involved in projects on the dynamics of scientific change – specifically, on the emergence of the interdisciplinary approach of “translational research” in Medicine – and on internationalization of collaborative research in large scale research facilities. I have also been part of projects related to the management of innovation in firms.
I took part to the project “Interreg IV A Ø-MIC, Øresund Materials Innovation Community (fas 2)”.

As a research fellow, I have been involved in the project “Analysis and development of the ICT cluster in Friuli Venezia Giulia e Carinthia Regions”.
